Simple Question =>

A friend's brand new MacBook lacks the traditional "Macintosh HD" on desktop - does Snow Leopard not like "Macintosh HD" icon on desktop? How to put it back?

I should know this but I am puzzled...

Thanks...

Make sure Finder is the active application and then select Finder Menu and Preferences. Put a check in Hard Disks and any other items they might want to show on the desktop.
