Based on recent Governor races in VA and NJ and a senate race in MA, getting a prediction, assistance, recommendation/advocacy from this guy is like the kiss of death for candidates or sports franchises:

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says the Indianapolis Colts "have to be favored" in the Super Bowl, even though he has a "soft spot" for the New Orleans Saints. Obama's Super Bowl prediction was based on his opinion that the Colts have "perhaps the best quarterback in history."

Congrats to Saints! Great Game!!!!

When it comes to the Super Bowl, I'm generally not for or against a team.

That said, it was nice to see New Orleans win.

Looking back, February was a slow news cycle. Good time for lite politics and the Big Game.
